Pixie Post
Music In Review
Pixie Post is a talented synth-wave artist. She creates multi-layered rhythmic ensembles, coloring them with booming melodies and haunting sounds. She also collaborates with other indie artists to add unique edges and direction to her compositional collection. Her songs are often danceable, but she is also known for creating soothing compositions that are great for meditation and harboring peace within.
Here are some songs I listened to that you should check out:
The Beginning (Truck Dog Remix) is a collaborative remix of an earlier version of this song by Pixie Post. It is an energetic, yet peaceful cosmic journey through time and space. This remix heightens the drive of the composition. Check out the original version as well.
Shadow Steps offers great tension of the type you would hear when the hero is cautiously sneaking up to the villain's palace to come to the rescue. You can feel the looming danger within the layers, breaths, and sinister laughs that breakthrough—great buildup with the bass riff carrying you through the scene.
Power Through The Pixie Dust is an amazing mesh of synth-wave vibes and shredding guitar work. Mickey Maffei of Symptoms of Lunacy releases his guitar expertise to add some spice to Pixie's grand composition. If you like a great guitar solo, you should give this a spin.
Celestial Awakening will get you moving with its booming kick sounds. Layered with melodic runs, it will make you want to get up and greet the day.
PixieVerse Dimension greets you quickly and takes you right into its journey through dimensions of rhythmic pixie dust and layered synth percussions. It brings you back to earth momentarily before sending you out for your final journey.
Please check out Pixie Post for yourself and add her to your musical archives.
