New Album Music In Progress: Milestone Reached

'Until Hell Freezes Ever Over' has reached a first milestone towards completion. All first guitars are tracked for the eleven songs slated for this next album. So, clearly, this is my music in progress.

This is the third and final album in my trilogy of albums to create better-produced versions of some of my best older songs, along with newer material that has never been recorded in the past. The latter is showing up on this album more than the previous two.

These tracks are sounding solid at this point, and hopefully, as I start to add polish towards the final sound, they will show their strength and be the best final (or first) versions of these songs ever.

Thanks to life, work, and other distractions, it is taking longer than I would wish. With so many hats I wear when it comes to music (writing, singing, performing all the instruments, graphics, website updates, blogs, videos, and anything else that comes along with it), I finally decided that I can only focus on one thing at a time.

This means that there are long times when I seem to disappear. That is usually when I am rehearsing parts to record them. As we all know, it's a process, and it is worth the time to give it your best shot.

So, please check out this video from the tracking sessions for seven of the songs. I forgot to take a video of three of the others. My videographer hat was missing that day, lol.
